Terms and conditions

Version 3, in force from 20 September 2026

In short

You get a blood test at a certified lab, a personal report and a call to go through it. Every result is first checked by a physician of the laboratory. You pay online when you order. You can cancel free of charge until we place the lab order; after the blood draw the service has been delivered. If every value we measured in your first test is in the optimal zone, you get the full amount back. We are an education service, not medical care: anything that needs a doctor goes to your GP.

1Who we are

Your Blood is the trade name of Lenn Swennen, a Belgian sole proprietorship registered under company number BE 1040.289.465 (KBO), Trapluststraat 4, 3910 Pelt, Belgium. Email: info@yourblood.nl. These terms apply to every service you order from us, through yourblood.nl, the intake form, email or a call.

2What you get

A Your Blood test consists of:

  • a set of biomarkers put together from your answers in the questionnaire, with the hormone panel added if you choose it;
  • a blood draw at a certified draw location of our partner laboratory, which you book yourself, and the laboratory analysis of your blood;
  • a medical check by a physician of the laboratory: every result is reviewed by the laboratory physician, who flags values that need medical attention, before we build your report;
  • a personal report in plain language, with the optimal zones we use and what you can do per marker;
  • a results call to go through everything together.

Supplement advice, if we give it, follows the results call as a separate document and is never a condition of the service.

3Ordering

You fill in the questionnaire and see which biomarkers we measure for you and the total price before you pay. The agreement is concluded when your online payment is completed. We then place the order at the laboratory and you receive an email with the link to choose your draw location. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

4Price and payment

The price at checkout is the full price: laboratory analysis, blood draw, review by the laboratory physician, report and results call. No VAT is charged: Your Blood is subject to the Belgian small-business VAT exemption (art. 56bis W.BTW). You pay the full amount online at checkout, through Mollie (iDEAL, Bancontact or card), before we place the laboratory order. Nothing is charged until you complete the payment yourself, and no further payment follows after the test.

5Our money-back promise

If every biomarker we measured in your first Your Blood test falls within the optimal zone stated in your report, there is nothing for you to improve and we refund the full amount within 14 days after your report. The optimal zones are the ones printed in your report. The promise applies once, to your first test, and not to retests.

6Cancelling and your right of withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days after your online payment, without giving a reason, by emailing info@yourblood.nl. By paying you ask us to start right away, within that period, by placing the laboratory order.

  • Before we place the lab order: cancelling is free and you get the full amount back.
  • After the lab order, before your blood draw: we refund your payment minus the costs the laboratory has charged us by then.
  • After your blood draw: the service has been performed in full and the right of withdrawal no longer applies. You acknowledge this when you pay.

Booked a draw appointment and cannot make it? Move it through the laboratory as early as you can. A missed appointment can be charged by the laboratory and is then passed on at cost.

7What we ask of you

Give us correct and complete information in the intake and on the call, follow the preparation instructions for your draw (such as fasting when a marker requires it), and tell us about medication or a recent illness that may affect a result. A result based on incomplete information is still a valid result, but our reading of it can be off.

8Not medical care

Your Blood is an optimisation and education service. We are not a healthcare provider and do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. The medical check of your results is done by the physician of the laboratory that analyses your blood; our report reads the same results for optimisation. The optimal zones in your report are deliberately stricter than the medical reference ranges your GP uses; a value outside our zone is a starting point, not a diagnosis. Any result that needs medical attention is referred to your GP or doctor. Decisions you take based on your report are your own. If you use medication or have a diagnosed condition, talk to your doctor before you change anything, including supplements.

9The laboratory

Blood draws and analyses are performed by certified partner laboratories and draw locations under their own quality systems. Turnaround times we mention are indicative; if a result is late we follow it up for you, but we cannot guarantee the timing of a laboratory. Your data is shared with the laboratory only as far as needed to perform your test, as described in our privacy policy.

10Liability

We deliver the service with care. Our liability, on any ground, is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence, and except where the law does not allow this limitation. We are not liable for the consequences of acting on your report without consulting a doctor where the report or the call told you to.

11Your data

How we handle your personal and health data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12Complaints and disputes

Something wrong? Email info@yourblood.nl and we respond within 14 days. Belgian law applies to these terms. If you live in another EU country as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country. Consumers in Belgium can also turn to the Consumentenombudsdienst (consumentenombudsdienst.be); consumers in the Netherlands to their own dispute bodies. Disputes go to the competent court of your place of residence.

13Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you paid. The current version, with its date, is always on this page.
