NEN-EN-ISO 15189
Your blood is analysed by medical laboratories working under NEN-EN-ISO 15189, the international standard for medical labs, overseen by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA).
Wet BIG
The draw itself is done by trained, authorised staff: analysts, nurses and doctor's assistants who do this every day. The same people who draw blood for GPs and hospitals, under the Dutch healthcare professions act (Wet BIG).
