Who we are

Your Blood is a Belgian sole proprietorship registered under company number BE 1040.289.465 (KBO), run by Lenn Swennen. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@yourblood.nl.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to deliver the service:

• Intake answers: your goals, lifestyle, diet, training, symptoms, medications and family history, plus your postal code and email address. Some of these answers are health data.
• Consent record: the consent boxes you tick and your typed name, with a timestamp.
• Booking details: name, email and appointment time when you book a call.
• Test data: if you decide to test, the details needed to order your test at a certified lab (name, date of birth, sex, contact and address details) and the results that come back.
• Calls: video calls may be transcribed to prepare your advice. You are always told at the start of the call, and can decline.

Why we use it

We use your data to select the biomarkers that fit you, order your test, explain your results and give you a practical plan. Health data is only processed with your explicit consent, which you give in the intake. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

• Certified partner labs and draw locations: they receive only what is needed to perform your blood draw and analysis.
• IT providers: Google (email, agenda and booking, document storage) and Vercel (website hosting and cookieless visitor statistics) process data on our behalf.

These providers may store data outside the EU; where they do, transfers are covered by EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

As long as you are a client, plus what tax and accounting law requires us to keep. If you filled in the intake but never became a client, we delete your data within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, receive or delete your data, and you can withdraw your consent whenever you want. Email info@yourblood.nl and we handle it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) or the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no tracking cookies. We store your language preference in your browser, and our visitor statistics (Vercel) work without cookies. The embedded booking widget is provided by Google and may use functional cookies of its own.

Not medical care

Your Blood is an optimization and education service, not medical care. Any result that needs medical attention is referred to your own GP or doctor. Your data is never shared with your GP, insurer or employer by us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
